APAN Network Research Workshop 2010
at the 30th APAN Meeting
August 9, 2010
Hanoi, Vietnam
APAN Network Research Workshop 2010 to be held as a part of the 30th APAN Meeting, aims to provide a one-day forum for graduate students and researchers in Asia-Pacific areas and beyond to exchange
information on their research activities. This workshop solicits papers with a broad scope in network areas.
Relevant topics include but are not limited to:
1. Network technology:
wireless network, optical network, future network technology, ad hoc and sensor network, delay and disruption-tolerant network,
future Internet, etc.
2. Network application:
distributed application, ubiquitous computing, GRID computing, experience with new application.
Remote medical activities, social science with Internet, etc.
3. Network management and operation:
network security, traffic measurement, performance analysis,
energy-aware network management and control, etc .

Here] with maximum number of 8 pages, and be submitted electronically in MS-Word or PDF format to
confweb.cais.ntu.edu.sg/~apan30/ using the "Paper Registration" section.
All accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings.
Fellowship and award: APAN will announce a fellowship program, providing financial support for
students to cover partially the cost for attending the 30th APAN meetings. Presenters of accepted papers will have a favored status to be selected as fellows.
A best student paper will be selected based on the technical merit and significance of the paper,
and be recognized by the workshop TPC. All accepted papers which have been primary authored and presented by a full-time student are eligible for the award.
