Objectives

  • To encourage graduate students and young researchers in APAN and related communities to present and publish their research results in the areas of: Network technology, Network engineering, Network measurement, Application technology, Communication technology, Network architecture, Middleware, Internationalization and Localization, etc.
  • To organize Network Research Workshop along with APAN meetings once a year.
  • To recommend good papers to the Editorial board of the Journal of advanced networking.

2003.8.25 - Network Research Workshop held in Busan, Korea
2003.8.29 - Network Research Group (NRG) formed
2004.7.6 - 2nd Network Research Workshop held in Cairns, Australia

The position paper will be posted on the APAN website. It will be a single view from the entire group. We take Prof. Kilnam Chon's proposal of the cluster. There are three main clusters. SEAsia cluster would have the countries in the neighboring countries. Oceanic cluster in Australia, North-east asia cluster is Korea, Japan., China, etc.
