LHCONE Asia Workshop
Chairman : Edoardo Martelli
Simon C. Lin
Members :
Objectives : Networking has been shown to be a very stable and functional service for WLCG (Worldwide Large Hadron Collider Computing Grid) in the High Energy Physics. It is also the key for the future evolution of WLCG. The purpose of this Workshop is to introduce the concept of LHCONE and facilitate its connectivity to Asia; furthermore, makes more and better use of the networks to more effectively manage data and storage resources in Asia.
Target Audience : Research and Education network providers including APAN members and global NREB such as ASnet, ASGCnet, Canarie, DFN, Esnet, GARR, Geant, JANET, Kreonet, Nordunet, Rediris, Renater, Surfnet, SWITCH, USLHCnet, etc.
