|Bio||Dr. Boonya-aroonnet has long experiences in hydroinformatics and modelling of water resource systems. He is competent in developing the operational weather and flood forecasting system and also mastered in integrating simulation results with GIS to assess risks or estimate damages of flooding. He is also capable of using technologies to acquire hydrological and geometry data e.g. telemetry, remote sensing, river surveying and automation, UAV for flood mapping. Currently, he leads a Hydro Informatics Division at HAII.
Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute (HAII), is a public organization under Ministry of Science and Technology, Thailand. As a research and development institute on hydro and agro informatics, HAII aims to develop and apply science and technology knowledge for agricultural and water resource management in Thailand. The implementation of science and technology enhance their partners to be climate change and disaster risk resilience. HAII also expand its collaboration and accomplishment in integrated water resource management nationally and internationally.
