Establishing a NREN TNE Support Programme

ObjectivesDemand for transnational education (TNE) activities are growing exponentially in the Asia Pacific region and NRENs are playing an increasing role in supporting their communities' TNE activities and this is not just limited to providing robust and reliable connectivity.

Our round table discussion aims to outline the landscape of TNE in the Asia Pacific region and give advice and guidance on how to develop a TNE support programme using real world examples and suggested best practises.

We invite participants to bring along their particular needs and challenges for discussion, advice, networking and suggested resources to find help.

Finally, attendees will be walked through a resource pack for NRENs involved in TNE activities developed by the UK's NREN Jisc and the GEANT TNE Special Interest Group which contains a wealth of information surrounding TNE support programmes and invite comments and feedback
