APAN Network Research Workshop 2009 at the 28th APAN Meeting
July 20, 2009
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

APAN Network Research Workshop 2009, to be held as a part of the 28th APAN Meeting, aims to provide a one-day forum for graduate students and researchers in Asia-Pacific areas and beyond to exchange information on their research activities. This workshop solicits papers with a broad scope in network areas. Relevant topics include but are not limited to:

1. Network Ttechnology: optical network, wireless network, future network technology, ad hoc and sensor network, delay and disruption-tolerant network
2. Network Application: distributed application, ubiquitous computing, GRID computing, experience with new applications
3. Network Management and Operation: network security, traffic measurement, performance analysis, energy-aware network management and control, etc.

Instruction for authors:
Papers should use the designated template [Download Here] with maximum number of 8 pages, and be submitted electronically in MS-Word or PDF format to conference-pub@apan.net. Subject Line in this email should be "APAN 28 Network Research Paper". All accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings.

Fellowship and award: APAN will announce a fellowship program, providing financial support for students to cover partially the cost for attending the 28th APAN meetings. Presenters of accepted papers will have a favored status to be selected as fellows.

A best student paper will be selected based on the technical merit and significance of the paper, and be recognized by the workshop TPC. All accepted papers which have been primary authored and presented by a full-time student are eligible for the award.
